The classroom can be one of the trickiest areas for a child with vision impairment. There is so much going on in here – pictures and words on the wall, maths, reading and science lessons, worksheets and books to read and your teacher writing on the board. Sometimes Mrs Cook writes on the board with a faded red or blue marker which makes it so difficult to see what she is writing. Can you read what she’s written just now? It can also get so bright in here with those big windows. There are lots of useful tools that can help a child with vision impairment learn and enjoy school, can you find them?
